NABH Guidelines for Modular General and Super-Specialty Operation Theatres
The System we supply maintains (as required by NABH Revised Guidelines 2018 issue No 4, Issue Date 11/18)
- A Minimum of 20 Air Changes Per Hour
- Fresh Air Component Will Be Minimum of 4 of the 20 Air Changes.
- 100% Air Change can be Provided if Necessary
- One AHU will be Dedicated to each Operating Theatre.
- Air Supplied will be through Terminal HEPA Filter Fitted at the Outflow in the Plenum,
- The Air Flow on the Bed will be Laminar and Downwards towards the Operating Bed,
- The Laminar Flow will have an Air Velocity of 25-35 Feet per Minute at the Plenum.
- The Laminar Filtration Size will Extend one Foot on all Sides of the Operating Table.
- Quality of Air Supplied will be Class 100/150 Class 5 at the Plenum Grill level if Required.
- Temperature Maintained will be 21° 23°C. For Joint Replacement it will be 18″ 13°C
- Relative Humidity will be Maintained at 55%. Any other Percentage, If Required. as per NABH can be Incorporated.
- Temperature, Relative Humidity & Room Pressure can be Monitored & Controlled with Auto Machine System.
- Fresh Air Intake will be from Uncontaminated Area.
- The Entire System Aircon can be Automated with a Touch Screen Console for Monitoring.
